I am currently completing my Student Internship at Holt Junior High School to receive my Michigan 6-12 Teacher Certification in English (BA) and Biology. Prior to my Internship, I have been an Adjunct Instructor at Olivet College in Olivet, Michigan (for the 2012- 2013 school year) and a Graduate Instructor at Michigan State University (for the 2010- 2011 and 2011-2012 school years). At both institutions, I taught courses in Writing and Rhetoric.

I am currently seeking employment in Education, and am interested in both continuing my instruction at the college level or beginning employment as a Secondary educator. I am also considering positions in private tutoring companies, nonprofit education foundations and governmental positions within Education and in Biology, my minor.

I am also an avid dressage rider and USDF L Graduate. I have earned the USDF Bronze medal, and  am currently competing my horse, Lord Kenmer, at Prix St. Georges. If all happens as planned, Kenny and I will be riding towards the goal of the USDF Silver medal in the summer of 2014.
